BD Strategy Partners, a US-based executive search and consulting firm, has opened its first international office in Israel.

Founded in 2014, BD Strategy Partners supports its clients with three service areas. The firm’s recruitment arm helps companies fill permanent roles, with a focus on leaders in the sales & marketing domain. Its advisory arm supports clients with offerings aimed at improving their recruitment process, including organisation design, process optimisation, and the adoption of technology.

BD Strategy Partners also has a Sales consulting practice, which advises clients on how they can advance the maturity of their sales organisation. “We provide companies with the accurate insights for growing revenue and market share. This starts with a thorough evaluation of the current sales organisation, after which we put together a go-forward plan and work with leadership to execute this plan,” explained Joel Petino, the CEO of BD Strategy Partners.

To meet growing demand for its services outside of home market the US, BD Strategy Partners has now setup shop in Israel’s capital city, Tel Aviv. To date, the professional services firm served its clients – over 180 since inception, including the likes of LexisNexis, LinkedIn and Salesforce – from its office in Hoboken, New Jersey.

The expansion into the Middle East builds on several projects delivered for the US operations of Israel-headquartered companies, said Petino. “We have over the years helped several Israel-based companies grow their US footprint. Establishing a base office in Israel gives our clients a local, trusted advisor.”

To lead the new office, BD Strategy Partners has tapped Omer Hevlin, a tech-entrepreneur and former sales leader at several (mainly technology) companies in Asia Pacific and the Middle East. He brings over 25 years of experience to the role. Petino: “Omer has decades of experience, and as a former client, he knows first-hand our process and the value we bring to the table.”

BD Strategy Partners’ Israeli office will initially focus on the recruitment pillar, and in particular on clients in the technology scene. “Israel has emerged as a global technology hub, with some of the most innovative and fast-growing companies,” said Petino.

Other staff at the boutique professional services firm include Ashley Petino, Kimberlee Cicerone, Jennifer McIlwain and Christina Nobis.
