Strategy& elevates four long-term members to partners
Strategy& has rewarded employee loyalty with the Middle East partnership promotions of four long-serving local consultants.
Global strategy consulting firm Strategy& has welcomed four new partners to its Middle East leadership team: Wissam Abdel Samad, Mark Haddad, Ramzi Khoury, and Charly Nakhoul – who have between them spent almost half a century at Strategy& and predecessor Booz & Company, prior to its purchase by PwC. The new partners hold expertise in industries spanning telecom, media & technology, manufacturing, sutomotive, real estate and investments.
Wissam Abdel Samad
Joining the firm in 2011 following a three-year stint in R&D engineering with communications systems consultancy NoMor Research, Samad is a member of Strategy&’s Middle East Telecommunications, Media, Technology, and Digital practices. He holds an MBA from the IESA Business School of the University of Navarra, and has for the past decade served major telecom operators and IT companies in the region.
Ramzi Khoury
Likewise a member of Strategy&’s TMT and Digital teams, Khoury has been with the firm in the UAE since 2011, previously working for Orange for five years as a project manager and R&D engineer in France – where he earned a master’s in telecommunications engineering from Télécom Paris. Khoury works with both telecoms on strategic matters and capabilities building, as well as with ICT regulators on sector development.
Mark Haddad
Haddad has been with the firm dating back to 2007, joining on the completion of an Engineering degree with the American University of Beirut (and soon after adding an MBA from INSEAD). Hadded serves in Strategy&’s Industrial Manufacturing and Automotive practices. As a specialist in all aspects of surface transport and the future of mobility, he has worked on major projects across Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.
Charly Nakhoul
A member of the strategy consultancy’s Family Business, Investments, and Real Estate practices in the Middle East, Nakhoul has been with the firm for altogether 14 years – like Haddad, earning his MBA from INSEAD and undergraduate degree (in Electrical & Computer Engineering) from AUB. He advises public sector authorities, developers, and investors on a broad range of topics, with experience spanning North America, Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
