Roland Berger welcomes Jawad Shaikh to its Dubai partner team
Strategic consultancy Roland Berger has elected a new partner in its Dubai office: Jawad Shaikh.
The freshly appointed partner has been with the Middle East wing of the Germany-headquartered consultancy since 2019 in the role of senior advisor. “Since joining, I had the opportunity to drive business development and the delivery of consulting projects and help expand Roland Berger’s presence across the region.”
Now, “it is a great pleasure for me to join the partnership, which I have found to exemplify excellence in content leadership and client commitment with a unique entrepreneurial spirit and resolute teamwork ethos,” said Shaikh.
Shaikh brings brings 25+ years of management consulting and industry experience with a primary focus on the TMT and Digital space to the partnership. Having worked at Capgemini Invent for a decade in Europe, Shaikh relocated to Dubai in 2010 to establish the firm’s presence in the Middle East. He led Capgemini Invent for around three years, before moving on to an industry role.
At du Telecom, Shaikh served as Head of the company’s Digital business unit (an executive role), after which he founded and ran a couple of digital start-ups before returning to management consulting in 2019 when he joined Roland Berger.

Shaikh is a UK national. He graduated from Cornell University with a Masters in Engineering Management & Manufacturing (a joint program by the Johnson Business School & College of Engineering), and holds a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from UET Lahore.
