Maya Khalifeh joins leadership of customer experience association

The Customer Experience Professional Association has named Maya Khalifeh, a Principal at Indevco Consultancy, as a member of its Middle East Leadership Council.

Founded in 2011, the Customer Experience Professional Association is the globe’s largest network dedicated to the advancement and cultivation of the customer experience profession.

Now joining the Middle East Leadership Council, Maya Khalifeh brings close to two decades of experience in commercial strategy, sales, key account management, customer relationship management, partnership programs, and experience management to the role.

In her role, Khalifeh will serve as an ambassador and representative of the association in the region. She will inform the customer experience community on the latest trends and developments, contribute to thought leadership, and serve as a linking pin between the regional council and the global councils.

According to Nancy Porte, Board Chair at the Customer Experience Professional Association, Khalifeh was selected for the high profile role “due to her customer experience expertise, personal integrity and high character, and commitment to the association’s core values of diversity, authenticity, and advocacy for the professional practice of customer experience management.”

In her daily job at Lebanon-based Indevco Consultancy (the consulting arm of industrial group Indevco), Khalifeh advises clients and is responsible for the firm’s sales portfolio. She previously led the customer experience offering for Indevco’s 60+ operating companies across the Middle East.

Her track record at the firm and its clients has seen her bag multiple recognitions, including winner of ‘Customer Experience Professional of the Year’ at the 2020 Gulf Customer Experience Awards, finalist at the CX Leader of the Year competition in 2020, and being named one of the top 33 Inspiring Women in CX to follow for 2022 by Engati.

Meanwhile, the Lebanese Government two years ago appointed her as the Citizen Experience Design Strategist, to help coordinate its efforts towards a more digitised government.

Commenting on her appointment, Khalifeh (who holds an Executive MBA degree from ESCP Europe), said: “I am honoured to be appointed as part of Middle East Leadership Council.”
