BrazilRiyadh Derouiche joins partner team of Strategy&
Strategy& has welcomed a new partner to its team in the Middle East: Riyadh Derouiche, who brings close to two decades of strategy consulting and industry experience to the firm.
Operating out of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Riyadh Derouiche has been appointed a partner in Strategy&’s Government and Public Sector practice.
At Strategy&, he will lead large-scale strategic transformation and national policy programs across the government landscape, with a focus on housing policy and construction topicssuch as affordable housing and the modern construction value chain.
Derouiche joins Strategy& from rival Kearney, where he also was a member of the Government practice. He spent a decade at Kearney (a partner since the summer of last year), during this time specialising on public sector and social housing engagements in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, providing counsel from policy setting and regulation through tofinancing and construction.
Commenting on his new challenge, Derouiche said: “I’m pleased to be joining Strategy& and am looking forward to working on exciting projects with the team.”
Formerly known as Booz & Company and Booz Allen Hamilton in the older days, Strategy& is the strategy consulting wing of PwC. In the Middle East, the firm has over 400 staff across six offices, and ranks as one of the region’s top five strategy consulting firms.
Earlier in his career, he worked for two other consultancies: Delta Partners Group (a former TMT strategy consultancy now part of FTI Consulting) and Globalpraxis (a Spanish firm specialised in commercial growth); and spent three years at telecom operator Etisalat.
Riyadh Derouiche is author of numerous thought leadership pieces. He holds an MBA from the ESADE Business School at the University of Ramon Llull in Spain.
