Raed Kombargi new leader of Strategy& in Qatar
Strategy& has appointed Raed Kombargi as the new leader of its Doha office.
A long-time company member, Raed Kombargi has been tasked with leading Strategy&’s presence in the Qatari market, and overseeing the Doha-based team and operation.
The strategic consulting firm – a subsidiary of PwC – has been active with an on the ground team in Qatar since 2010. Strategy& helps public and private sector clients across industries with topics including strategy formulation, economic and societal transformation, operating model improvement, and innovation, among others.
Kombargi has also been handed the remit to spearhead the growth of Strategy&’s footprint in the country, in line with its ambition to support a growing portfolio of work as the country works towards its ambitious Qatar National Vision 2030.

Kombargi has been with Strategy& since 1999 (then Booz Allen Hamilton and later Booz & Company), with his long tenure interrupted only through a four-year period at Bain & Company.
Prior to his new role, Kombargi was the leader of the firm’s Energy, Chemicals, and Utilities practice. He focuses on strategy development, concession agreements and commercial joint venture setups, cost reduction, operational excellence, capability development, and operating model assignments in upstream oil and gas.
