Beyon Cyber has agreed a strategic agreement with global cyber defender Trend Micro, enabling the Bahrain-based cyber consultancy to bring Trend Micro’s solutions to the nation’s SME sector.

In Bahrain, micro, small and medium enterprises make up over 90% of all businesses in the country. Combined, they represent a major force in Bahrain’s $44 billion (nominal GDP) economy, estimated at around 30% of the total.

Similar to government institutions and larger enterprises, small and medium enterprises face a continuous cyber risk, with threats of all kinds looming on the horizon – and that risk is expected to only be on the up in the coming years.
