Roland Berger has appointed Nizar Hneini as senior partner and country leader for Qatar, one of the firm’s key markets in the region.

Bringing over two decades of rich experience in the consulting industry, Nizar Hneini has been tasked with driving significant growth for the strategic consultancy in the Qatari market. Roland Berger launched its Qatar office in 2011.

“Our Qatar office is pivotal to our strategy in the Middle East,” said Hani Tohme, Managing Partner of Roland Berger in the Middle East. “Nizar’s leadership will be crucial in maximizing our impact and growth in this vital market.”

Hneini’s track record includes managing and leading consulting projects globally, with a pronounced emphasis on industries such as civil economics and infrastructure, energy, technology, media and telecommunications, and functional domains related to strategy and digital transformation.

Throughout his career, Hneini worked for globally-operating consulting firms Altran (now Capgemini), Detecon, and most recently KPMG, where he was a senior partner and Head of its Strategy, Digital and Innovation practices in the region. His professional journey has spanned multiple continents, including extensive work in the Middle East, Europe, the US, and Africa.

Working with clients, he played a key role in developing new strategies, spearheading critical transformational programs, delivering large-scale change, and driving (digital) innovation.

Internally, Hneini has built and nurtured senior client relationships, formed and led diverse teams, helped setup new operations and scale practices, and spearheaded growth in green and brownfield areas. A highly-skilled relationship builder, his proactive role in business development have marked him as a leader in the region’s consulting industry.
