RISE promotes Wedad Al Rasheed to more senior role

Within a year of joining RISE, Wedad Al Rasheed has been promoted to a more senior role.

Appointed a Senior Executive for Brand Sponsorships and Activation, Al Rasheed will now take more responsibility and leadership in her activities, which include developing and executing marketing campaigns, conducting market research, and creating proposals for new business opportunities.

Established in 2014, RISE is a consulting firm and brand activation agency dedicated to the sport, cultural, and entertainment sectors (SCE). Al Rasheed works in the brand activation team of the RISE SCE business, which helps players in the three sectors with commercial strategies, securing holder rights, and sponsorships.

“With her extensive experience in digital marketing, sponsorship activations, campaign planning, and project management, combined with her successful contributions to RISE’s key brand activation projects, Wedad is well-positioned to excel in her new role,” said Dave McCann, Partner at RISE SCE.

“This promotion is well deserved – it reflects her dedication, skill, and the significant impact she has made within the company.”

Prior to joining RISE at the start of this year, Al Rasheed gained work experience in various customer-facing roles, including at water bottler Nova and telecom giant stc.

Expanding on what she enjoys in her work, Al Rasheed took to LinkedIn to state: “I am passionate about creating and delivering impactful and innovative marketing solutions that enhance brand awareness and customer loyalty. I am always eager to learn new skills, collaborate with diverse teams, and contribute to the growth and success of the organization.”

Wedad Al Rasheed holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Al Yamamah University in Riyadh.
