Damien Bach continues his long Capgemini career in the Middle East

Damien Bach is continuing his career at Capgemini in the Middle East, having relocated from Switzerland to Dubai to take on his latest role.

“After an incredible adventure at Capgemini in Switzerland, I look back proudly on what we’ve achieved over the past 13 years. Today, Capgemini is a recognized player in the Swiss market, and it has been an honor to be part of this growth story,” said Bach in a social post announcing his move.

After a career as an entrepreneur and four years at Alten, Bach joined Capgemini in 2007 in its Sales department. He grew the ranks to become Head of Sales and Business Development across the Swiss market, and was a member of the local Executive Committee.

During his time at Capgemini, the firm has managed to significantly grow its footprint in Switzerland, and position itself as a leader in its main lines of business: management consulting (provided by Capgemini invent), digital transformation, technology, and business process outsourcing.

“We have become leaders in helping many Swiss companies navigate their IT and business transformations. It has been a privilege to build long-term partnerships [such as with SAP, Salesforce, AWS, Microsoft] and support so many clients with their transformative visions.”

Based out of Dubai, and appointed as Vice President and Group Client Partner, Bach has been tasked with building out of the Capgemini team in the Middle East. The listed consulting group, which has 350,000 staff worldwide, serves the region through offices in the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia.
