PwC promotes Murtadha Al-Yousef to L&D Manager for Middle East
PwC has promoted Murtadha Al-Yousef to Learning & Development Manager for the Middle East.
Previously the Learning & Development Lead for the Saudi market, Murtadha Al-Yousef has now been handed the remit to lead the firm’s training and career development offerings to its 12,000+ staff across the region.
Al-Yousef has been with PwC for just under three years, during this period contributing to the training of more than 8,000 individuals within PwC’s Assurance business. He leads a number of high-profile PwC programs, including the Tamakkan Program (which equip senior GCC nationals with skills and resources) and the Watani program (which empowers Emirati students and graduates).
In his new role, Al-Yousef will oversee PwC’s full learning & development portfolio, including curriculum development, training delivery, and partnerships with knowledge and technology vendors. He remains based in the firm’s Al Khobar office.
Prior to serving PwC, Al-Yousef gained experience in human resources and learning and development in the private sector. He holds a master’s degree in Business Administration and professional certifications in Management and Human Resources.
Established in the Middle East for 40 years, PwC is the largest of the Big Four firms in the region. The company’s three main rivals, EY, Deloitte and KPMG, have between 7,000 to 9,000 partners and staff regionwide.
