Dhruva strengthens Middle East leadership team with three new partners
Middle East tax consultancy Dhruva has promoted three company members – Geet Shah, Ujjwal Pawra and Sandeep Kumar – to partner, lifting its partner team to nine.
Geet Shah joined Dhruva in 2015 and brings over 18 years of experience in indirect taxation. He specializes in VAT in the UAE, Bahrain, and Oman, VAT implementation, advisory, compliance, and dispute resolution, with sector expertise spanning retail, hospitality, real estate, and infrastructure. Previously, Shah worked with American Towers and Deloitte.
Ujjwal Pawra joined Dhruva in 2018 and brings over 19 years of experience in indirect taxation across India and the Middle East. His expertise spans UAE VAT, tax structuring, compliance, litigation, and due diligence, along with devising tax-efficient solutions. Pawra peviously worked with Big Four firms, including PwC and KPMG.
Sandeep Kumar joined Dhruva in 2024 with over 19 years of experience in corporate and international tax, having worked with Big Four firms, including Deloitte, KPMG and EY across India and the Middle East. His expertise spans tax structuring, compliance, and tax transformation.
Since its inception in 2017, Dhruva has emerged as a leading tax advisory firm in the GCC, operating across the full breadth of the landscape, including in areas such as corporate tax, VAT implementation, indirect tax, compliance, dispute resolution, and tax training.
Today, Dhruva’s Middle East practice comprises 7 partners, 2 associate partners, and around 140 staff.
