WTS Dhruva Consultants promotes trio to partner in Middle East

WTS Dhruva Consultants has taken a significant stride forward in its growth trajectory by promoting three company members to partner positions within the firm.

Headquartered in the UAE, WTS Dhruva Consultants is a tax advisory firm specialised in end-to-end tax solutions to clients in the GCC region. The firm has a proven track record in topics including corporate tax, VAT implementation, tax training, indirect tax services, compliance, planning and dispute resolution.

Boosting its senior ranks in the region, Kapil Bhatnagar and Vlad Skibunov (Dubai) and Rakesh Jain (Abu Dhabi) have now been promoted to partner.

Kapil Bhatnagar has been with the firm since 2019, relocating from parent Dhruva Advisors in India to the Middle East in 2020. He has extensive experience in international tax, transfer pricing, tax policy, and cross border structuring. He previously worked for PwC, among others.

Vlad Skibunov joined WTS Dhruva Consultants in late 2022, and has more than 18 years of tax work experience in the Middle East, the United Kingdom and New Zealand. He advises clients on all aspects of indirect taxation. .

Rakesh Jain joined WTS Dhruva Consultants at the start of the year, bringing 18+ years of experience in Big Four firms across the Middle East and India. His areas of specialization include corporate tax, international tax, tax structuring and M&A tax, compliance and dispute resolution, tax technology, value chain transformation, and governance. He previously worked for KPMG, PwC, and EY.

Launched in 2017, WTS Dhruva Consultants today has a team of over 70+ professionals including four partners and four associate partners, making it one of the region’s largest pure-play tax advisory firms.
