Dhruva hires new partner in Saudi market: Manish Bansal

Tax-focused advisory firm Dhruva has kicked off its expansion plans in Saudi Arabia with the hire of a new partner in the kingdom: Manish Bansal.
Appointed as an Associate Partner, Manish Bansal will collaborate with the firm’s Middle East leadership team to expand its presence in the Saudi market.
Established in the Middle East in 2017, Dhruva has since then grown into one of the leading independent tax consultancies in the region, with currently 130 staff working from offices in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Having already built a track record in the Saudi market, the firm is now laying the foundations for a new office, an enlarged team on the ground, and an accelerated growth track.
“We have some big plans for the Saudi market,” said Nimish Goel, GCC Leader of Dhruva. “We are therefore delighted to welcome Manish on board, who’s vast experience in the KSA market will surely help us in increasing our market share in the kingdom.”
A member of the Indirect Tax practice of Dhruva, Bansal has more than 16 years of indirect tax experience in India and Saudi Arabia. He moved to KSA in 2019 when he transferred from Deloitte’s member firm in India to its Saudi counterpart. One of his key achievements at the Big Four firm was setting up a new practice specifically focussed on real estate sector clients and advising on complex issues on the recently introduced real estate transaction tax.
“I have closely followed Dhruva’s journey since its inception in 2014 [in India] and in the UAE [in 2017]. Dhruva has developed an excellent reputation in the market for creating deep long-lasting client relationships and offering a personalized service. I am super excited to be part of the team and look forward to replicating the same in KSA market, and of course leverage from the UAE experience,” said Bansal.
