Ibtechar’s rebrand embodies new strategy and next phase of growth

Ibtechar, an innovation-focused consulting and solutions company from Qatar, has refreshed its branding and logo as part of its 10th anniversary – and ambitions for the future.
Between 2011 and 2021, Ibtechar built a track record of excellence in innovation strategy and the delivery of innovation programs and capability building initiatives, working with clients in both the public and private sector.
Notable projects include working with the government and private sector players to accomplish around 70% of all innovation spaces in Qatar, such as Qatar Business Incubation Center’s (QBIC) laboratory for QDB and Nama Foundation, the laboratory of Qatar Science and Technology Secondary School for Boys, and the laboratory of Mada Fab Lab for persons with disabilities.
Other well-known clients on the firm’s roster include: the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, the Ministry of Defence Qatar, Boeing, Qatar Satellite Company (Es’hailSat), Economic Zones Company (Manateq), Hamad Bin Khalifa University, QSTP, Shell, Bedaya Center for Entrepreneurship and Career Development, and Occidental.
“We have already proved ourselves and stood out among competitors, not only as the number-one local company specialised in innovation and technology, but also with our ability to provide turnkey solutions that address the challenges of modern technology and further contribute to the current progress in almost everything in the country,” said Khalid Aboujassoum, founder and chairman of Ibtechar.
The firm’s new strategy aims to guide its continued growth, development and impact. The strategy is underpinned by a service portfolio that empowers corporations and organisations to integrate practical innovation strategies and processes into their ideas, initiatives, and projects. Its services are organized around three main domains: innovation consultancy, innovation development, and innovation management.
According to Nayef al-Ibrahim, founding partner and CEO of Ibtechar, the new visual identity embodies the firm’s new strategy and service offering, as well its aspiration to “maintain excellence and embrace the highest professional standards” in the industry.
The new branding combines three elements: (1) spirit of innovation (the letter “i”, which is the initial of both Ibtechar and innovation), (2) focus on persons (the key asset of Ibtechar and the main drivers of innovation), and 3) moving forward (as an anticipatory vision towards the hopes and possibilities of the future).
