Fast Company names Ibtechar among Middle East’s Most Innovative Companies
Fast Company has unveiled the 2024 edition of its Most Innovative Companies in the Middle East, naming Ibtechar one of the winners for its excellence in fostering student growth and creativity.
At an awards gala at the Hilton Dubai Palm Jumeirah, over 200 entrepreneurs, industry leaders and investors gathered to celebrate the best in Middle East innovation.
Fast Company received hundreds of nominations for its Most Innovative Companies in the Middle East ranking, with organizations competing across various categories, including artificial intelligence, sustainability, fintech, healthcare, and retail. Entries were evaluated by an independent judging panel, recognizing companies that have not only excelled in their respective sectors but have also demonstrated resilience and forward-thinking strategies.
The Most Innovative Companies in the Middle East 2024 list includes around 50 companies recognised for their excellence – among them Ibtechar, an innovation consulting firm from Qatar.
Ibtechar
Over the past year, Ibtechar has enhanced its educational initiatives, Jothoor Al-Arabiya and Sanea. Jothoor Al-Arabiya, a program modernizing Arabic language learning, expanded with after-school programs and ongoing teacher training, improving accessibility and quality. Sanea, designed to foster innovation among youth, introduced the Sanea Excellence Program and partnered with Injaz to support entrepreneurship.
Additionally, Ibtechar provided ten underserved schools with maker labs, engaging 100 students. These efforts resulted in an 85% level-up rate in Jothoor Al-Arabiya and notable student achievements, including platinum research awards. Both programs are economically sustainable, socially impactful, and set for further growth.
