Ceyda Pattabanoğlu joins Dogma Alares as a Strategy Associate
Recent graduate hire Ceyda Pattabanoğlu has joined the team of Dogma Alares, a global strategy consulting firm based in London and Istanbul, as a Strategy Associate. Dogma Alares helped turn theory into real-world impact, accelerating Ceyda’s growth from classroom to boardroom.
After graduating with a degree in Economics from the University of Bilkent, one of Türkiye’s top schools, Ceyda began her role at Dogma Alares, where she has been for four months now. She has enjoyed this opportunity to solve problems with her teammates, which has been an engaging experience.
“As a Strategy Associate, one of the most valuable aspects for me was the chance to learn about a subject I was not very familiar with, in a real-world setting, alongside my teammates,” notes Ceyda.
After joining the consulting firm, Ceyda’s first project with Dogma Alares was focused on optimizing the e-commerce logistics operations of a major Turkish retailer. That included analyzing end-to-end processes, spotting inefficiencies, and recommending actionable solutions.
“I had a hands-on role with the project, which involved carrying out time studies, analyzing data, and observing field processes. Based on these analyses, we identified areas for improvement and developed tangible solution recommendations,” says Ceyda.
She has so far appreciated being able to work directly with partners and case managers on various projects. It has been a learning experience to see how senior team members approached complex problems and break them down into more manageable components.
“Through this project, I was able to see how case studies translate into real life, which gave me a broader vision,” Ceyda adds.
“At this early stage of my career, I am very fortunate to have been part of a project where I was able to work both on-site and directly with senior executives and partners. I plan to apply the knowledge and lessons I have gained from this project to future projects.”
