North Highland strengthens Middle East team with Ahmed Nawaz

International consulting firm North Highland has strengthened its team in the Middle East with Ahmed Nawaz.

Appointed as Managing Director, Ahmed Nawaz brings 20+ years of experience in business transformation, commercial excellence, large-scale transformation, and operations to North Highland.

He joins the US-headquartered consulting firm, which in the region has offices in Riyadh and Abu Dhabi, from the Public Investment Fund (PIF), where he was the Head of Strategic Capabilities and was responsible for building and operationalizing the Global Business Services & Shared Services division that supports the 200+ portfolio companies and joint ventures of the Saudi sovereign fund.

Before that, Nawaz spent over 5 years at Abu Dhabi-based sovereign fund Mubadala, where he held several senior roles. He spent the first decade of his career working in consulting with Deloitte and Accenture in the United Kingdom.

At North Highland, Nawaz will serve as a strategic advisor to the firm’s clients and lead business and digital change across governments, sovereign wealth funds, and the private sector.
