Deloitte launches cybersecurity training center in Casablanca
Global accounting and consulting firm Deloitte has launched a CyberAcademy in Casablanca, aimed at training professionals in Morocco in the field of cybersecurity.
The new specialized cybersecurity training center will support professionals, students, recent graduates, and experienced individuals who wish to develop their cybersecurity skills.
At launch, the CyberAcademy offers around 60 certified training courses covering technical, organizational, regulatory, and strategic aspects of cybersecurity. Over time, Deloitte plans to expand the curriculum further with offline and online courses.
This new hub is part of Deloitte’s Morocco Cyber Center, which first opened in February 2023. The center currently employs approximately 100 people who support clients in cyber defense, digital fraud threats, and regulatory compliance. It also offers managed services for cyber monitoring and incident response.
Deloitte is one of the world’s leading cybersecurity advisors, a position it also holds in the Middle East and North Africa region. In Morocco, the consulting firm is making significant investments in the domain – its stated ambition is to grow the Cyber Center to 450 experts in the coming years.
Imade Elbaraka, President of the Deloitte Morocco Cyber Center, said: “The launch of the CyberAcademy reflects our commitment to developing qualified cybersecurity talent in Morocco and across Africa. Our ambition is to equip organizations with human resources capable of addressing current and future cyber challenges.”
