BCG appoints Souhail Cherqaoui-Fassi and Ghita Lahlou in Casablanca office

Boston Consulting Group (BCG) has appointed two new Managing Directors & Partners in its Casablanca office: Souhail Cherqaoui-Fassi and Ghita Lahlou.

Souhail Cherqaoui-Fassi joins the Casablanca team through the firm’s office transfer program, previously based in Paris. He is a member of the Technology, Media & Telecommunications and Principal Investors & Private Equity practices.

He has been advising major operators and investors since 2011, across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Oceania. Souhail works with telecommunications and technology operators on their growth, transformation, and investment agendas, with a particular focus on digital infrastructure. He is also experienced in IT services, cybersecurity, and semi-conductors.

He has been with Boston Consulting Group since 2021, then joining from Altman Solon. Souhail previously worked at BCG between 2015 and 2019.

Ghita Lahlou has been promoted to Managing Director & Partner. She has been with the strategy consulting firm since early 2022, before that working at hospital network Meden Healthcare in an executive leadership role. Like Souhail, she is also a company returnee – having previously worked at BCG from 2009 to 2014.

Ghita is a member of the Healthcare, and Travel, Cities & Infrastructure practices, driving strategic initiatives for public and private sector clients across Morocco and the African continent. Her work spans strategy, operations, mergers & acquisitions, and digital transformation, as well as capital investment programs, and operational excellence.
