Baker Tilly boosts digital consulting capabilities in Morocco with Seven addition
Global professional services firm Baker Tilly has expanded its digital transformation capabilities in Morocco through the acquisition of Seven, which will rebrand as Baker Tilly Seven.
The deal strengthens Baker Tilly’s advisory and technology offering across Morocco and the wider North African market, adding specialist expertise in digital transformation, data, artificial intelligence (AI), and agentic AI at a time when demand for technology-enabled business transformation continues to accelerate.
Founded in 2017, Seven has grown into a 50-person consulting firm specialising in digital transformation. The firm helps corporates and public sector organisations modernise their operations through digital, data and AI solutions, serving clients across Morocco and Africa with a particular focus on the financial services and public sectors.
Key capabilities of Seven span digital strategy, customer journey transformation, data management, AI implementation, and the industrialisation of new technology capabilities.
Commenting on the deal, Chakib Zaari, managing partner of Baker Tilly in Morocco, said: “Morocco is undergoing rapid digital transformation across banking, insurance and public services. Seven brings a proven track record of delivering digital projects for financial institutions and public bodies, providing both credibility and scale. Integrating this capability into our network allows us to expand digital advisory services for existing clients while opening Baker Tilly’s full multidisciplinary expertise to Seven’s client base, creating a strong platform for growth and long-term value.”
Following the integration, Seven will operate as Baker Tilly Seven and continue to be led by its founding partners, Tarik Sekkat and Jalal Benabdouh. They will work alongside Baker Tilly’s Moroccan and international teams to develop integrated consulting offerings for organisations pursuing large-scale business transformation programmes.
“We help organisations move from digital strategy to real outcomes. Joining Baker Tilly allows us to offer clients not just technical execution, but integrated advisory support, ensuring complex transformation programs deliver tangible value,” said Sekkat.

For Baker Tilly, which sees its headcount in Morocco grow to around 250 practitioners, the acquisition represents another step in broadening its multidisciplinary advisory capabilities. The firm positions itself as a full-service adviser for organisations and mid-market businesses navigating increasingly complex transformation agendas.
“Admitting a high-calibre digital firm such as Seven strengthens our ability to deliver technology services locally, going all in to support clients from strategic vision through to the safe and effective implementation of advanced digital and AI solutions,” stated Francesca Lagerberg, CEO of Baker Tilly.
