Strategic Gears and Al Amal Al Sherif partner in plastics manufacturing sector
Saudi management consultancy Strategic Gears has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Al Amal Al Sherif to collaborate on creating business development opportunities within the plastics manufacturing value chain.
Under the collaboration, Strategic Gears will combine its consulting and advisory capabilities with Al Amal Al Sherif’s on-the-ground relationships to unlock market development opportunities in Saud Arabia’s plastics manufacturing landscape and adjacent industrial sectors. The aim is to facilitate introductions and create connections for potential projects.
“This Memorandum of Understanding aligns directly with Saudi Arabia’s industrial diversification agenda,” said Nasser Alqahtan, Managing Partner at Strategic Gears. “Together with Al Amal Al Sherif, we’ll help plastics manufacturers move faster from strategy to execution, translating demand signals into bankable projects.”
Founded in 1964 in Egypt, Al Amal Al Sherif is known for its proficiency in manufacturing water supply systems, sewage solutions, and high-quality water fittings for different sectors. The company has operations in several Arab countries, including Saudi Arabia.
As part of the agreement, Al Amal Al Sherif will take responsibility for opening up commercial opportunities within its vast network in the industry, and for reviewing commercial proposals, fees, and timelines prior to the initiation of work. The company will also support the delivery through coordination and offering a focal point for communication and alignment.
Strategic Gears meanwhile will lead the delivery of Statements of Work – offering strategic advisory services, providing organizational support, and delivering (change) projects aligned with client objectives.
In the coming period, Al Amal Al Sherif and Strategic Gears will develop a pipeline of opportunities in the plastics manufacturing ecosystem (for example: raw materials, conversion, packaging applications), and jointly engage prospective clients and partners to scope, validate, and mobilize projects.
Earlier this year, Strategic Gears also signed partnerships with CozmoX AI, IE Business School, and FutureLearn.
