Egyptian sustainability consultancy DCarbon Global launches in Qatar
Egypt-headquartered sustainability consultancy DCarbon Global has launched a new office in Qatar, expanding its Middle East footprint to three locations.
Established in 2014, DCarbon Global specialises in sustainability, ESG and climate change. The firm advises and supports organisations and governments on their journey towards sustainable development by providing integrated solutions aligned with international standards such as ISSB, GRI and CSRD.
Following earlier expansion into the UAE market, DCarbon Global has now set up a new office in the Qatar Financial Centre (QFC), one of the leading financial and business hubs in the Middle East.
Ehab Shalaby, CEO of DCarbon Global, said the move forms part of the company’s Gulf expansion plan and its commitment to supporting economies in their efforts to transition towards a diversified, low-carbon, more resilient and sustainable future.
“Qatar’s Carbon Strategy places at the heart of its mission the empowerment of development partners to adopt responsible practices that lead to a more sustainable future. We aim to be a leading driver of this transition by providing integrated consulting services in areas such as sustainable finance, national capacity building and digital transformation, thereby enhancing the readiness of Qatari organisations to achieve the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030,” said Shalaby.
The Qatar-based team, which has a strategic collaboration in the country with Forvis Mazars, will focus on sectors including government, financial services, energy, construction, transportation and logistics.
Outside the Middle East, DCarbon Global also has a presence in the Netherlands and Canada through partnerships with local counterparts.
