Bain & Company expands UAE presence with new office in Abu Dhabi
While the ongoing regional conflict is prompting some management consulting firms to scale back their growth ambitions, Bain & Company is taking a different path. The firm has just launched a new office in Abu Dhabi – its fourth in the Middle East.
The US-headquartered consultancy has supported clients across the region for more than three decades, building a strong track record in strategy development and the delivery of complex transformation programmes for both public and private sector organisations.
Until now, Bain’s UAE operations were led from Dubai, with its office based in the Dubai World Trade Centre. With the opening of its Abu Dhabi office, the global strategy consulting firm is strengthening its on-the-ground presence in the UAE and positioning itself closer to key government entities, businesses and investors in the capital.
Eric Beranger-Fenouillet, Managing Partner of Bain & Company Middle East, and Anne-Laure Malauzat, Managing Partner of UAE, said in a statement that the move reflects growing demand for its expertise in the market, and marks the next phase in the firm’s regional growth plan.
“Abu Dhabi is at the center of the most important strategic agendas in the region, from sovereign investment and energy transition to AI adoption and socio-economic development,” said Beranger-Fenouillet.
“Our clients here are moving quickly from vision to execution on programs that are genuinely shaping the future. Securing this space is about being closer to that work and bringing the full depth of Bain & Company’s capabilities to our clients in the capital. We see real momentum here, and we want to be part of it for the long term.”

Malauzat added: “Abu Dhabi is central to our UAE business, and this expanded office reflects that. We already work with some of the Emirate’s most prominent organizations and having a larger team on the ground allows us to do that more effectively. Abu Dhabi is a place where ambition is matched by execution, and we are proud to be investing deeper in this market alongside our clients.”
In the UAE, Bain & Company offers its full suite of services, from strategy and operations through to technology. Topics the firm has earmarked as key areas for growth in Abu Dhabi include economic diversification, energy transition, artificial intelligence, sovereign investments, sustainability, and social development.
