FP delivers Case Competition Workshop to Saudi university students
Students from several Saudi universities took part in a Case Competition Workshop last week, gaining hands-on experience in the core skills required for a career in consulting.
Led by consultants from Four Principles, the event introduced students to the types of business challenges consultants tackle while helping them develop key consulting capabilities, including structured problem-solving, business analysis, teamwork, and presentation skills.
The workshop was organised by the AHHIL Initiative, a student-led, nonprofit intensive training program that helps university students prepare for a career in the consulting profession. The Case Competition Workshop was held on Thursday, July 16th at White Spaces in Riyadh.
Built around a real-world business case, the workshop combined practical exercises with guidance from experienced consultants, giving participants the opportunity to apply consulting frameworks in a setting designed to simulate the realities of client work.
“The event brought together an outstanding group of students,” said Four Principles. “Throughout the competition, participants demonstrated impressive analytical thinking, creativity, and teamwork.”
Beyond the competition itself, the workshop gave students valuable insight into life as a consultant and the culture at Four Principles, an award-winning management consultancy specialising in operations, lean thinking, and digital transformation.
With the consulting firm continuing to expand across the region and ‘always’ on the lookout for future top talent, Four Principles said it looks forward to future collaborations with the AHHIL Initiative. Such partnerships form part of the firm’s broader commitment to inspiring the next generation of talent while strengthening its presence among Saudi Arabia’s future consulting professionals.
Earlier this year, the AHHIL Initiative also hosted sessions with consultants from firms including KPMG, McKinsey & Company, Boston Consulting Group, Horváth, and IBM Consulting.
