Aon has announced four senior appointments in its Saudi business, including the appointment of two Deputy CEOs for business units.

Sulaiman Al Amri has been named Deputy CEO of Health & Benefits. He is an insurance and financial services leader with over 18 years of experience in business development, corporate sales, and commercial strategy. Throughout his career, he has successfully driven business growth, developed strategic partnerships, and delivered long-term value for clients and organizations across Saudi Arabia.

In his new role, he will lead the continued growth and development of Aon’s Health & Benefits business across the Kingdom.

Fadi Nawar has been appointed as Deputy CEO of the Commercial Risk business. He is a seasoned insurance and commercial risk executive with over 26 years of industry experience in insurance brokerage, client management, operational leadership, and business growth.

In his role as General Manager of Aon Arabia’s Western Region, Nawar has successfully strengthened client partnerships, built high-performing teams, and driven sustainable business growth. In his new role, he will provide leadership and strategic oversight to the Commercial Risk business, helping clients navigate an increasingly complex risk environment.

Ammar Tariq has been installed as Chief Broking & Placement Officer. A Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute (FCII), he is a seasoned insurance and risk management leader with more than 20 years of industry experience, with deep expertise in broking, placement strategy, and risk solutions.

As per his current role, Tariq will continue to lead Aon’s technical, broking, placement and commercial risks market strategy across the Kingdom, driving market engagement and helping deliver innovative solutions and tangible outcomes for clients across Saudi Arabia.

Abdullah Sultan has been named Chief Client Officer. He has more than 15 years of leadership experience across Saudi Arabia’s insurance sector, having served as CEO, board member, and strategic advisor. Sultan brings to his new role extensive expertise in corporate governance, enterprise risk management, business transformation, and operational excellence.

As Chief Client Officer, he will lead Aon’s client engagement strategy and strengthen the firm’s commitment to delivering exceptional value and client outcomes. He will help further strengthen client relationships and enhance client experience across all of the firm’s business lines.

In a statement, Aon said that the four appointments will further enhance its organizational structure and client services. “By combining strong leadership, deep market expertise, and a client-first approach, we are positioning Aon for continued growth in Saudi Arabia while further enhancing the experience and value we deliver to our clients.”
