Falak Consulting's Unreasonable Thinking returns to Bahrain
The Unreasonable Thinking Summit is back this month for its fourth edition in Bahrain, courtesy of hosts Falak Consulting and the Minister of Youth & Sport Affairs.
Set to take place in Manama on the 25th of March, the Unreasonable Thinking Summit is an annual innovation conference hosted by Middle East management consultancy Falak Consulting in Bahrain. Now into its 4th edition, local business development agency Tamkeen will again lend its support, alongside Minister of Youth & Sport Affairs Ayman bin Tawfiq Al Moayed.
“Innovative entrepreneurship has helped the Kingdom, and the whole world as a matter of fact, by evolving and creating new products and services to compete with – not to say replace – the existing ones,” commented Falak Consulting CEO Suhail Algosaibi, who thanked the minister for his patronage and Tamkeen for its ongoing support for the event and local entrepreneurship.
Among the high-profile guest speakers for this year’s summit are Atari founder Nolan Bushnell and Nobel Peace Prize recipient Kailash Sathyarthi, with Neat Meat CEO Lincoln Peedah – an International Finance Corporation (FT/IFC) Transformational Business Awards winner for 2019 – and Apollo Hospitals Managing Director Suneeta Reddy also featuring on the bill.
“Through the diversified backgrounds of our speakers, we would like to tell the entrepreneurship and startup community in Bahrain that you do not have to invent something,” continued Algosaibi. “Innovators often take an existing concept and transform it into its best version for the right audience. Innovative ideas are what make startups compete, succeed and survive.”
The one-day event is free of charge, but with limited capacity executives and members of the startup, corporate, government and student communities who are interested in attending will need to register in advance through the event website. The last three editions have proven popular, with speakers such as Pixar Animation’s Paul Topolos appearing last year.
Algosaibi, who founded Falak Consulting in 2013, concludes; “Hosting the Unreasonable Thinking Summit comes as part of our purpose of building stronger economies and happier societies by unlocking business and human potential. Through the summit we aim to educate and inspire the Bahraini community, including startup entrepreneurs, business leaders, university and high school students.”
