Strategy& promotes Bilal Mikati, Ramzi Madi and Sami Zaki
Strategy& has promoted a trio of its senior advisors in the Middle East to partner level.
Bilal Mikati has been with Strategy&, formerly Booz & Company before it was acquired by PwC and rebranded, for twelve years. He joined the firm having previously served Nokia for two years.
Mikati, who graduated from Lebanon’s American University of Beirut and is based in Strategy&’s Dubai office, specialises in strategy, performance improvement and operations, with a focus on clients in the education, family business, investments, real estate and private equity sectors.
Having graduated from the same class at the American University of Beirut (2006) as Mikati, Ramzi Madi joined Strategy& straight from the school banks. He ascended the ranks to become Principal in October 2015, and has now been admitted into the firm’s Middle East partnership. Madi advises clients on a range of strategy & operations topics, with a focus on companies in the telecom, media & technology sectors.
The third new partner, Sami Zaki, is a member of Strategy&’s public sector practice. He joined the strategy consulting firm in 2009, having previously worked around five years in banking (HSBC) and in technology (Oracle, SAP). In the public domain, he specialises in advising governments on their social agenda with particular focus on policy design, social program design and implementation, and enabling NGOs and social businesses to play a bigger role in addressing societal challenge.
His consulting expertise also spans private sector work, focused on go-to-market strategy, growth strategy, feasibility and due diligence, supply chain restructuring and organisation turnaround.
All three new partners hold an MBA degree; Mikati from Columbia Business School, Madi from INSEAD, and Zaki from The Wharton School. Their intake grows Strategy&’s partnership in the region to over 30 – they lead a team of consultants across offices in Abu Dhabi, Beirut, Doha, Dubai and Riyadh.
Earlier this year, Strategy& added Dima Sayess, Karim Sarkis and Lancelot Sursock to its partnership.
