Newly launched consultancy Coberg has come off to a flying start, following the signing of partnerships with two of the globe’s leading software providers, Celonis and Salesforce.

Dubai-based Coberg was formally launched in the second quarter of this year by company founder Mohamed Abdelsalam, who previously led data consultancy Synerise across the Middle East & Africa. Earlier in his career, he worked for American technology powerhouses Oracle and Microsoft, among others.

consulting firm specialised in digital transformation, with a focus on data and processes, Coberg has now joined the partners ranks of Celonis (a provider of process mining and optimisation solutions) and Salesforce (the world’s largest provider of customer relationship management software).

Commenting on the Celonis partnership, Abdelsalam said: “The demand for process mining is constantly growing. Celonis is taking process mining to the next level, enabling customers to identify and close execution barriers in their processes, and to take intelligent action in real time. We see the value data driven execution can drive for different business functions such as procurement, supply chain, finance, maintenance and others, across all industries.”

As part of the agreement, Coberg will help clients in the Middle East and Africa with implementing and enhancing their Celonis-based operations. The consultancy will also setup a process mining center of expertise in Cairo (and Warsaw), staffed with certified consultants that will run Celonis operations for businesses.

In similar fashion, Coberg has been named a consulting partner of Salesforce, meaning that the firm will help clients with adopting Salesforce and implementing their upgrades. Coberg will also run a managed services operation for Salesforce systems, hosted from its newly established customer experience center of expertise.

Other Salesforce consulting partners in the Middle East include Accenture, 4C, Capgemini, the Big Four, Changi Consulting, and zCloud Consultancy.
