BrazilFTI promotes Yana Kamburova to senior managing director
Global consulting firm FTI Consulting has promoted UAE-based company member Yana Kamburova to senior managing director within its FTI Capital Advisors business.
Appointed in sync with three other recently reported Middle East senior managing director promotions, Kamburova brings more than a dozen years of experience in corporate finance and investment banking to the leadership team.
Kamburova has been with FTI Consulting (and formerly Delta Partners) for her entire career, specialising in advising clients in the telecom, media and technology (TMT) sectors during mergers & acquisitions and corporate finance engagements.
Kamburova initially joined Delta Partners in South Africa, after which she early 2012 transferred to the firm’s Dubai office. In 2020, as part of FTI Consulting’s acquisition of the TMT strategy consulting and investment banking firm, she crossed to the US-headquartered group.
The Bulgarian national holds a Bachelor with honors in Business Administration and a Master in Finance, both from Bocconi University in Italy, in addition to a Master with honors in Business Administration from Rotterdam School of Management in the Netherlands.
The appointment is part of FTI Consulting’s record-breaking tally of 64 year-start senior managing director promotions across its footprint in 30+ countries. Globally, the publicly listed group has over 7,000 employees.
