Zane Heasman joins partner team of Carter Hones Associates

UAE project management consultancy Carter Hones Associates has strengthened its partner team with Zane Heasman.

Seasoned new recruit Zane Heasman brings almost 40 years of experience in the construction consultancy space to the firn, and a track record that spans some of the most prestigious and challenging projects in the region across industry segments.

Heasman joins the partner team and takes responsibility for building out the firm’s newly launched Cost Consultancy business. In a dual role, he will also serve as the Chief Commercial Officer of Carter Hones Associates.

Headquartered in the UAE, Carter Hones Associates is a project consultancy that provides project management solutions from concept to completion. The firm – founded in 2010 by namesakes Craig Carter (CEO) and Nathan Hones (COO) – also supports clients with cost & commercial management services and quantity surveying.

Commenting on the high-profile addition, partner and chief operations officer Nathan Hones said: “We are delighted to have Zane on board. With his solid career in the industry and his profile in the region, we know he will successfully build and develop our business in the Gulf Cooperation Council.”

Heasman most recently was general manager of ACS Cost and Value Management, and before that he held a leadership role at PMKConsult in the UAE (notably PMKConsult acquired ACS in 2021), and served larger counterpart ASTAD Project Management in Qatar.

Zane Heasman is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and the Chartered Institute of Builders and is also an accredited RICS expert witness and mediator.
