Within two months of launching in the UAE’s capital, project management consultancy Carter Hones Associates has now also landed in Riyadh.

Established in Dubai in 2010, Carter Hones Associates is a homegrown consultancy firm that helps builders, developers and investors with delivering their projects in the build environment. The firm specialises in project delivery, commercial management, cost control, and quantity surveying services.

“We have been assisting clients in Saudi Arabia for many years now,” said co-founder Nathan Hones, “and we are thrilled to be solidifying our presence in the Kingdom with the launch of our new office.”

The new hub is the firm’s third in the region, alongside its Dubai headquarters and still fresh Abu Dhabi venture.

“Our strategic expansion into Saudi Arabia comes at a time when we are experiencing increased demand for our specialist expertise, in particular around hospitality and leisure projects,” said Hones.

Under the mantle of Vision 2030, Saudi Arabia has set a massive construction aspiration, which even includes the build of several entirely new (and futuristic) regions and cities. An estimate from Knight Frank pegs the Kingdom’s total committed spend on property and infrastructure at more than $1.25 trillion since Vision 2030 was launched in 2016.

The development of hospitality and leisure forms an integral part of masterplans, and this is where Carter Hones Associates comes in. The firm’s roster of client work spans multiple high-profile projects in the landscape, including the build and refurbishment of luxury hotels and residential communities.

Carter Hones Associates also works in other sectors, such as real estate, banking, construction, and infrastructure.

“Working alongside consultancies, semi-government entities and local hospitality brands, we look forward to enhancing our collaboration with local players and developing lasting partnerships,” Hones said. “We are committed to contributing positively to the local economy and supporting Vision 2030.”

With Saudi Arabia’s economy one of the fastest growing in the region, the number of consultancies establishing an on the ground base in the country is rising rapidly. According to ConsultancyME’s count, over the course of the past twelve months eight firms that rank among the Middle East’s leading consulting firms launched their inaugural presence in the Kingdom.
