Sakib Abdul Rehman to drive Argon & Co's growth in Saudi market
Global management consultancy Argon & Co has scaled up its commitment to the Saudi market with the appointment of a new partner in Riyadh: Sakib Abdul Rehman.
Bringing nearly two decades of experience in management consulting and banking, Sakib Abdul Rehman has been handed the remit to grow Argon & Co’s footprint in the fast-growing Saudi market. Argon & Co launched its ground presence in the Kingdom around a year ago.
“Sakib’s arrival not only strengthens our positioning in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, but also across the wider Middle Eastern market,” said Jean-François Laget, Managing Partner at Argon & Co, an international 600-strong consultancy specialised in operations strategy, supply chain and procurement.
Abdul Rehman joins Argon & Co from Big Four firm EY, where he spent thirteen years and latterly was a partner in its UAE business. His expertise covers significant business transformation initiatives, particularly in the realms of digital technology and streamlining business automation.
“Sakib’s arrival in the Argon & Co region marks a transformative moment for our team in the Middle East. His strategic and tactical mindset, coupled with his deep understanding of various technical domains, such as operating models, cloud adoption and ERP selection makes him invaluable to our growth ambition,” said Stefan Westdijk, partner at Argon & Co in the Middle East.
Commenting on his move to Argon & Co in a widely shared post on LinkedIn (600+ likes and comments at the time of writing), Abdul Rehman noted: “I am pleased to join Argon & Co at a time where unprecedented change sweeps across the Kingdom. Our expertise in operations transformation and digital innovation, can provide unwavering support to Saudi’s Vision 2030.”
“Our goal is to be the preferred strategic and operations partner, helping our clients achieve Saudi’s Vision 2030. I am looking forward to driving our growth in Saudi Arabia together with regional leaders Richard Powell, Michael Mitchell and Stefan Westdijk.”
In the Middle East, private-equity backed Argon & Co has offices in Abu Dhabi and Riyadh.
