After years of operating in tandem, NSI Talent and Bluefin Talent have fully merged to form Tandem Search, an executive search and recruitment company with five offices worldwide.

Tandem Search is a specialist player in the headhunting industry with a focus on three sectors: professional services (mainly consulting), financial services (mainly banking, investment management and hedge funds), and technology.

NSI Talent (Dubai) and Bluefin Talent (London) initially joined forces eight years ago, spending the past years building synergies across the Middle East and Europe, expanding their footprint into Asia (2018) and North America (2021), and building shared operations centers in South Africa, India and Lebanon.

Deepak Bhavsar and Monal Chhapia, the co-founders of Tandem Search, said that the time was right to now fully integrate, and regroup under a united brand. “Our vision is to create a powerhouse in the sectors where our clients have come to rely on us as true industry leaders. Under one brand, we can better work towards this vision while maintaining our focused approach.”

Founded in 2013 in Dubai, NSI Talent is one of the leading recruitment houses for professionals in the strategy and management consulting sector. While the firm does not disclose its clientele, insiders close to Consultancy.org highlighted the firm serves top-tier strategy firms, the Big Four, and management consultancy boutiques. NSI Talent works both across individual talent search, as well as team hires and carve-outs.

Established in the same year in London, Bluefin Talent has grown to become a well-known player in the financial services arena, with a strong focus on the finance, governance, risk and compliance domains.

Combined, Tandem Search has 50 staff, with NSI Talent’s former base in Dubai serving as the global headquarters.

“Our merger represents the culmination of a vision we had to create something extraordinary, and I am overjoyed to see it come to fruition. The journey we've embarked on has been marked by dedication, hard work, and the unwavering commitment of our incredible teams,” said Chhapia, who in his pre-entrepreneurial life worked as a consultant at PwC.

“Tandem Search is not just a merger; it is a testament to our shared values, the strength of our collective expertise, and the boundless potential we see in our future together. This merger is a celebration of the past, a moment of great joy in the present, and a promise of a bright, promising future. Together, we will continue to provide our clients with the highest levels of excellence, push boundaries, and redefine success.”

Bhavsar added: “Serving a global client base, Tandem Search sets out to provide clients with access to a global network, championing diversity, inclusion, and global mobility for their hiring needs.”
