Mazars adds Haziq Neshat Akhtar to partner team in Bahrain
Global accounting and advisory firm Mazars has strengthened its team in Bahrain with Haziq Neshat Akhtar.
A professional with over 14 years of experience, Haziq brings to Mazars a wealth of knowledge and experience in topics including risk advisory, corporate finance and transactions, finance, internal audit, financial crime, and Shariah Audits.
A partner in the Advisory business, Haziq will help Mazars expand its business in Bahrain – the France headquartered group has been active in the Kingdom for thirteen years and currently enjoys a leading position in the market.

Haziq’s arrival at Mazars coincides with his relocation to the Middle East from Pakistan, where he spent the past four years at BDO in its Karachi office, serving as a partner in the Risk & Corporate Advisory practice. Earlier in his career, Haziq also spent counterpart Grant Thornton for several years.
In between his tenure in professional services, he held finance-focused leadership roles at SJ&G Pharmaceutical Group and Gerry’s Group.
