Saudi students from King Faisal University, Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University and Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University contemplating to kickstart their career in management consulting should look no further – the Consulting Championship 2024 provides them with all the ingredients needed to test and nurture their potential for a career in the industry.

Powered by Aramco in collaboration with Strategic Gears, Pure Consulting, and KPMG, the Consulting Championship is a competition that immerses students into the management consulting profession.

Students from the three universities were eligible to apply for the competition, with selected participants starting their journey in late October. Throughout November, these students will undergo intensive training, including masterclasses and coaching sessions from experienced consultants. This training will focus on developing essential consulting skills such as problem-solving, case analysis, presentation, and communication.

The three consulting firms supporting the event, Strategic Gears, Pure Consulting and KPMG, have all been recognised as the leading consulting firms in the Middle East, providing students the warranty that they are trained by experts among the crème de la crème in the industry.

In the competition’s last round, teams will have to present their recommendations on a real-life business case in a 10-slide PowerPoint presentation to a judging panel comprising leaders from industry, with the top performers set to advance to the grand finale, which will take place mid-December. In this final, a panel of judges will evaluate the team presentations and select the winners.

Alongside bragging rights and eternal fame, members of the winning teams will receive grand prizes and will be offered internship opportunities at Strategic Gears.

“The Consulting Championship 2024 is a unique competition for aspiring and ambitious individuals to test and nurture their potential for a career in management consulting. It helps students develop their skills, crack a real-world consulting case, and build a network in the sector, all potentially leading to future career opportunities,” stated the competition’s organizers.
