Pure Consulting joins Saudi delegation at 63rd Damascus International Fair
Held from August 26 to September 4, the 63rd edition of the Damascus International Fair brought together executives and government officials from 60 countries, providing an important stepping stone in Syria’s economic recovery and journey toward the future.
The Damascus International Fair is an annual commercial exhibition in Syria’s capital city. Described as “the Syrian economy’s window” to the world, the fair was first held in 1954 and is the oldest such fair in the Middle East. The event, which was inaugurated by President Ahmed al-Sharaa, serves as a key platform for fostering international investment partnerships across a wide range of economic sectors, particularly energy, industry, and technology.
This year’s edition recorded its highest participation in recent years, welcoming approximately 1,000 entities from 60 countries, alongside Syrian ministries, institutions, and artisans, highlighting the fair’s significant economic and developmental importance to a nation of 26 million people.
Saudi delegation
The Saudi delegation participated in the fair with the aim of strengthening economic and industrial integration between the two countries. One of Syria’s top current and future partners, Saudi non-oil exports to Syria reached SAR 1.23 billion in 2025, representing growth of more than 123% compared with the previous year.
As part of the Saudi delegation, Pure Consulting brought to Syria its experience of operating at the heart of Saudi Arabia’s transformation journey. “The Damascus International Fair provided a platform to strengthen connections and open broader avenues for collaboration, reinforcing the value of bringing together expertise and capabilities to support Syria’s development journey and future aspirations,” said the firm.
The consulting firm further stated that it aims to “provide its know-how, expertise, and track record in ways that support Syria’s economic and social transformation, including contributing to institutional development, empowering Syrian national talent, and building effective partnerships across the public and private sectors that advance development and create sustainable impact.”

Founded in 2014, Pure Consulting is one of Saudi Arabia’s leading homegrown management consulting firms. Last year, the firm was named among the Middle East’s leading consultancies across multiple areas of expertise.
“While the fair has concluded, our purpose continues, reflecting a responsibility to contribute to Syria’s journey toward the future. We will continue to share our expertise, transfer knowledge, empower Syrian national talent, and build partnerships – contributing to a journey toward a future where Syria shines again,” said Pure Consulting.
