AWS and Deloitte ramp up Middle East alliance and eye $1 billion goal by 2030
Amazon Web Services has announced a significant expansion of its strategic alliance with Deloitte, with the two companies planning to deliver $1 billion worth of services in the Middle East by 2030.
The ramped-up agreement and bold ambition builds on the long-standing global collaboration between Deloitte’s consulting business and Amazon Web Services (AWS). Sitting in the highest partner band of AWS (Premier Partner), Deloitte has built a reputation and track record as one of the leading consulting and implementation partners of AWS around the world.
The expanded regional collaboration will focus on helping enterprises in the Middle East modernize their core operations, increase agility, and drive innovation through technologies operating on the AWS cloud. By 2030, the two companies want to have jointly delivered $1 billion worth of services.
That value will be supplied across all sectors, including banking, energy, public services, and healthcare. Core focus areas will include cloud strategy and architecture, application modernization, AI development and integration, cybersecurity, and governance.
“By deepening our alliance with AWS, we are not only investing in advanced technologies but also in the talent and tools that local businesses need to thrive. Together, we will help clients accelerate innovation, build resilience, and unlock long-term value through cloud and AI adoption at scale,” said Rashid Bashir, Technology & Transformation Leader of Deloitte in the Middle East.
To meet the scaling of the collaboration, Deloitte will grow its network of AWS-certified practitioners in the Middle East and invest in building dedicated Centers of Excellence to support complex transformation needs.
“This collaboration means Deloitte and AWS can bring their proven methodology for industry solutions to customers in the Middle East. Customers can look forward to significantly accelerating the pace of their bold transformation projects by having a partner which will stay with them from inception to value realization,” said Tanuja Randery, Managing Director for Europe, Middle East & Africa at AWS.
