Consulting Championship 2024 inspires next generation of consultants
The Consulting Championship 2024, organized in collaboration with Aramco, Pure Consulting, KPMG and Strategic Gears, has successfully concluded after bringing together ambitious students from King Faisal University, Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University, and Prince Mohammad bin Fahd University.
The competition, launched in late October 2024, offered selected students an intensive program that included training sessions, masterclasses, and coaching by experienced consultants throughout November 2024. Participants focused on sharpening critical consulting skills such as problem-solving, case analysis, communication, and presentation.
Recognized consulting firms – Pure Consulting, KPMG and Strategic Gears – played a central role in training the students, ensuring they benefited from the expertise of some of the Middle East’s leading professionals.
Pure Consulting contributed significantly by delivering the academic content through a series of specialized workshops. These training and guidance sessions were meticulously designed and conducted by Pure Consulting’s experts, equipping students with both practical knowledge and professional tools to prepare them for real-world consulting challenges.
In the final stage held in mid-December 2024, competing teams presented their recommendations on a real-life business case to a panel of industry leaders. The judges evaluated the presentations and announced the winning teams, who received valuable prizes in addition to internship opportunities with Strategic Gears.
Organizers described the championship as “a unique platform for aspiring and ambitious individuals to test and nurture their potential for a career in management consulting,” noting that it enabled students to gain practical experience, build professional networks, and explore future career opportunities.
