Consulum seeks aspiring graduates for programme in Saudi Arabia

Middle East intelligence-led strategy and communications firm Consulum has opened applications for its graduate development programme in Saudi Arabia, with participants to gain hands-on experience.

Having last year relocated its regional headquarters to Riyadh and opened an innovative new office in KAFD, Consulum is constantly looking for ambitious young talent in Saudi Arabia. These graduates will get to experience direct client exposure within the first month of the programme.

Now in its fourth year, the graduate development initiative is open to advanced bachelor’s or master’s students with an interest in strategic communications, intelligence insights, and advisory, and will run for one year, with training in research, strategy, policy, reputation, crisis, and digital communications.

“Consulum was founded in the region over a decade ago, and our graduate development programme reflects our long-term commitment to Saudi Arabia and beyond,” said KSA office head Nader Naamani. “The programme plays a central role in nurturing emerging talent, and we’re incredibly proud of our graduates as they step into their future as seasoned communications professionals.”

Successful applicants will experience almost immediate client exposure, the opportunity to help solve complex strategic challenges, and collaborate within Consulum’s multi-disciplinary teams (which, further, include data and research professionals). They’ll also work with the consulting firm’s global network, Stagwell, which now spans some thirty countries worldwide.

As per the firm’s website: “Our graduate development programme is a one-year initiative designed to provide recent graduates with a solid foundation in strategic communications and the skills required for long-term success. The programme combines mentorship and career guidance with regular engagement from senior leaders and exposure to diverse offerings, work, teams and clients.”

More broadly, the graduates will be expected to produce research, briefing notes, monitoring reports and to analyse data to support advice to clients and inform communications decisions; as well as draft messaging, talking points, press releases and digital content.

For anyone still in doubt, the newly re-energised firm just scooped a bunch of major awards for its work on a Saudi campaign in Japan. The firm was also named by Consultancy.org among the leading consultancies in the Middle East’s government sector.

“Through experiences and training that develop soft and technical capabilities, participants gain the confidence, skills and insight to contribute meaningfully to Saudi Vision 2030, and to excel as future leaders in the industry.”
