Mindsets expands into North American market with new Houston office
Mindsets, a Middle East-origin advisory and investment group, has launched in the North American market with the establishment of a new office in Houston.
Founded in 2016, Mindsets has since its inception grown into a leading diversified professional services business with business units for strategic consulting, programme and project management, venture incubation, capital advisory, and data and AI solutions.
The new office in Houston marks the firm’s entry into the US market – the world’s largest management consulting market. The hub becomes the company’s seventh office, alongside Beirut (headquarters), Dubai (UAE), Riyadh and Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), Nicosia (Cyprus), and Rotterdam (Netherlands).
“The establishment of our North American presence marks a significant milestone in our international growth strategy,” said Rayan Khraibani, Co-Founder and CEO of Mindsets. “It strengthens our ability to serve clients across North American and Latin American markets in strategy, project development, decision analytics, and venture growth.”
The CEO added that the move represents more than a geographic expansion – “it represents our commitment to being where transformative decisions are made.”
“The convergence of world-class healthcare institutions, global energy leadership, and infrastructure investment momentum creates an environment where our talent-centric approach can drive meaningful impact. We see North America as central to our mission of harnessing human intellect for sustainable value creation.”
Building on its track record in the Middle East and Europe, Mindsets will initially work across four main verticals: healthcare (serving health services organizations and MedTech companies), energy (traditional and renewable energy), infrastructure (transportation and public sector infrastructure), and mobility (public sector infrastructure).
Houston leaders
The setup and expansion of the American office will be led by chief executive Khraibani, who is currently based in Houston and earlier in his career spent two years in the city with an oil major, and Assaad Mohanna, who has been appointed as lead for market development and strategic partnerships in North America.

In the role, Mohanna will advance regional initiatives by overseeing market development, client engagement, and team building across the firm’s various business units. Hired externally, Mohanna previously was a partner at ERM and ran his own consulting business in Texas.
“North America presents a unique convergence of institutional capital, infrastructure momentum, innovation ecosystems, and public-private collaboration,” he said. “Our goal is to partner with ambitious organizations seeking disciplined strategy, strong execution frameworks, and long-term value creation. Houston provides a dynamic platform to serve clients across the Americas.”
