Mindsets launches new office in Rotterdam as gateway for European market
Hot on the heels of its expansion into the US, Mindsets has launched a new office in the Netherlands, with its Rotterdam hub set to serve as the gateway for the firm’s European growth plans.
Established in 2016 in Lebanon, Mindsets has since its inception grown into one of the Middle East’s leading consulting firms, offering expertise in strategic consulting, program and project management, venture incubation, capital advisory, and data & AI solutions.
Building on its internationalization strategy, Mindsets has this year set its sights on the globe’s two largest consulting markets. Earlier this month, the firm formally announced its launch in Houston, and this week, Mindsets unveiled its new hub in Rotterdam.
“We’re delighted to bring our integrated operating model – combining strategic consulting, technology-enabled decision support, venture incubation, and capital advisory – to the European market,” said Rayan Khraibani, Co-Founder and CEO of Mindsets.
When asked why Rotterdam was chosen as the firm’s European hub, Khraibani explained: “Rotterdam is a unique gateway to the continent. This expansion is central to our mission of turning human intellect into sustainable value.”
To lead the new office, Mindsets has appointed Nawras Akroush to oversee European market development, client engagement, and strategic partnerships. Akroush brings extensive experience in strategic advisory and data & AI delivery, having served clients across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, the United States, and Canada.
He has been tasked with driving regional growth across the firm’s five main lines of business. “Rotterdam sits at the crossroads of Europe’s most pressing opportunities – a city leading in urban planning, transport, and environmental innovation. Its thriving ecosystem of innovative companies and deeply international talent pool make it the ideal launchpad for our continental ambitions,” said Akroush.
Data & AI Studio
Central to the Rotterdam launch is the Data & AI Studio (DAIS), a dedicated unit that brings together business consultants, AI engineers, and data scientists to help European organizations simplify complex decision-making, convert information into proprietary intellectual assets, and shift from reactive analysis to predictive action.
“The studio in Rotterdam will serve as the firm’s global center of excellence for data & AI, strengthening our ability to serve clients worldwide in strategy, data-driven decision support, project development, and venture growth,” said Akroush.
In its early stages, the Data & AI Studio will focus on mobility and transportation, supply chain and retail, and logistics – sectors closely aligned with Rotterdam’s position as Europe’s largest port city.
