ProHRPay Consulting launches Payroll Associations across six regions
ProHRPay Consulting, an international player specialized in HR and payroll transformation, has launched the Middle East Payroll Association as part of a broader global campaign.
Launched simultaneously across six regions – the Middle East, Asia, India, Latin America, North America and Europe and Africa – the regional chapters of the Payroll Association share a common goal: to connect and empower professionals across the payroll ecosystem, advance the field, unlock practical value, and drive innovation.
Afrooz Mohammed, Founder and Director at ProHRPay Consulting, said the launch comes at a timely moment, as payroll has increasingly shifted from an operational function to a strategic one. However, this transition is not without challenges, and many HR leaders and payroll practitioners are in need of greater guidance, knowledge, and peer support.
“Payroll today is no longer just an operational function – it is a strategic pillar of workforce experience, compliance, and business efficiency. Our newly launched Payroll Associations aim to elevate payroll into a centre of excellence by fostering dialogue between all stakeholders involved in the payroll lifecycle.”
The community will offer a wide-ranging portfolio of activities, including knowledge sharing and thought leadership on payroll transformation and technology, collaboration between employers and solution providers, discussions on compliance, regulation, and best practices, as well as networking opportunities for industry professionals and partners.
The Payroll Associations will also serve as a platform for industry events, webinars, roundtables, research insights, conferences, and future awards programmes that recognise excellence in payroll and workforce operations.

Local chapters with a global mindset
With ProHRPay Consulting headquartered in the Middle East, the regional chapter will serve as the association’s central hub. “Although our foundation is rooted in the Middle East, the Payroll Association is designed with a global mindset – connecting international best practices with regional expertise to shape the future of payroll worldwide.”
The Payroll Association is open to professionals from diverse backgrounds, including payroll specialists, HR leaders, finance teams, technology providers, payroll vendors, managed service providers, and implementation partners.
