Firms in Jordan, Palestine, KSA and Egypt join global networks
Accountancy and consulting networks Russell Bedford, Nexia and BOKS have added a number of new members across the MENA region.
A number of new members from across the Middle East & North Africa have in recent weeks been added to global mid-tier accounting and professional services networks Russell Bedford International, BOKS International, and Nexia International, covering Saudi Arabia, Jordan, the Palestinian Territories and Egypt. They follow other recent regional member additions to rival networks UHY and HBL.
The most recent of the latest additions is Amman-based firm Arab Professionals, which has joined Russell Bedford International as a member in Jordan. Established in 1992, Arab Professionals has since become a top ten local CPA firm, and is comprised of two entities; its primary audit and accounting business along with a specialist tax practice, Arab Professionals for Tax Consulting.
“It is fantastic to welcome yet another Middle Eastern firm to the network, with this region expanding so rapidly over the past few months. Arab Professionals’ focused approach towards quality and client service are key areas of importance that we consider when selecting new members, said Russell Bedford CEO Stephen Hamlet. I am excited to begin working with this Top 10 CPA firm.”
“Russell Bedford’s membership of the Forum of Firms made them a very desirable choice when considering the most suitable network for our firm,” said Arab Professionals Managing Partner Ibrahim Hammoudeh in response. “We are excited to begin leveraging Russell Bedford’s well-established branding to enhance our firm’s credibility, steering us into our next phase of development.”
Arab Professionals is approximately Russell Bedford’s twelfth member in the region, and comes shortly after the addition of Badreddin Public Accountants and Financial Consultants in the Palestinian territory. Based out of Gaza, Badreddin was established more than 40 years ago, and serves a range of clients including SMEs, large corporates and associations across Gaza and West Bank.
A long-established firm based in Gaza, Badreddin has built its reputation as a leading practice in their local market and brings to the network a wealth of experience gathered over its 40 years in business. The firm’s breadth of services and experience makes them an ideal candidate for Russell Bedford membership,” said Hamlet, who has been at the helm since 2017. “A huge welcome to the team!”
The past six weeks have also seen a new member firm added to Nexia International in Egypt, Maged Sherif & Co, while BOKS has taken on a member in Saudi Arabia; KOP. The former, based in Cairo, has a team of five partners and 37 staff-members providing a broad range of services to clients such as corporate, business and international tax advice, assurance, M&A, and transfer pricing.
“Maged Sherif & Co brings an impressive depth of experience and knowledge in many sectors and industries that will greatly benefit our members across the world. We look forward to working with them,” said Nexia CEO Kevin Arnold, with Maged Sherif COO Tamer Abdel Aziz Sherif adding; “By joining Nexia’s global network of high-quality accountants and auditors, we can better serve our clients.”
KOP meanwhile is based in Riyadh, with a track-record dating back close to a decade in providing clients with a full range of accounting and audit services. “KOP are an excellent firm who have shown particular commitment to strengthening their global ties and attracting new international clients in their own domestic market,” commented BOKS’ Alliance Director Richard Sergeant.
