Telecoms, media and tech consultancy Delta Partners has admitted Anna Arlorio and Damilola Ojo to its partnership in Dubai, further marking a recent growth spurt for the firm.

International consultancy and TMT-sector specialist Delta Partners has added two new members to its partnership ranks in Dubai; Anna Arlorio, who has been with the firm since the completion of her MSc. in 2008, and Damilola Ojo, who joined in 2013. According to Delta, the pair of promotions will help bolster its analytics business as the firm pushes on from a recent period of growth, which last month saw it open its seventh global office in Sydney.

“As we continue to expand our business geographically and as we continue to execute our growth plan for the years to come, having Anna and Damilola in the leadership team will undoubtedly make our partnership stronger,” said Delta Partners CEO Victor Font, who co-founded the firm in 2006. “Anna and Damilola have become critical pillars in the buildup of one of our key differentiators as a firm: our analytics-based approach to solving clients’ problems.”

Accordingly, Arlorio in her new leadership role has been tasked with helping to drive the overall growth of Delta Partners’ analytics practice, while Ojo will head up the Analytics Enablement function of Delta’s DATAFARM, a data intelligence unit within its analytics practice. In addition to analytics and management consulting, Delta also provides corporate finance and investment banking services, with a specific focus on the technology, media and telecom space.

“These promotions strengthen our Practices-driven model, which continues to drive the large majority of our business,” said Delta’ senior partner and Practices lead Roman Izquierdo, who like Font previously spent considerable time at 2006-Oliver Wyman acquisition Diamond Cluster. “I am looking forward to continuing to work with Anna, and Damilola in launching differential propositions in analytics that help our TMT client-base better steer their businesses”.

Damilola Ojo and Anna Arlorio - Delta Partners

Both Arlorio and Ojo were accepted to the firm’s partnership with unanimous support at a recent Partners’ meeting in Dubai, a fact the firm says highlights the credentials of the new partners and their successful careers at Delta to date. Prior to joining, Ojo spent a decade or so developing his technical expertise in data management and analytics, including stints as a director of his own business intelligence consultancy and at SAS UK, supporting clients on five continents.

Since joining Delta, Ojo has completed professional certifications from MIT and Columbia University, complementing an earlier BSc. in Chemistry with Nigeria’s leading university. Arlorio meanwhile earned her MSc. from ESADE to add to an economic degree from Università Bocconi – together two of Europe’s leading business schools. Since then she has served clients from all over the world in data and analytics, commercial strategy and customer experience.

The pair now join a team of around three dozen partners, with Delta altogether boasting a global headcount in excess of 200 professionals spread across offices in Barcelona, Dubai, New York, San Francisco, Johannesburg, Singapore, and now Sydney. The addition of an Australian branch follows that of significant growth in the US, with the firm’s New York office now its third largest and the launch of a third US hub expected this year. A London office is also on the cards.

“The decision to expand our presence into Australia and New Zealand came naturally after our previous success in other advanced markets, like Europe or the Americas,” Font said of the move, which was completed at the beginning of February. “The region presents relevant opportunities and is a great fit for the firm. It’s also fantastic to create new work opportunities to attract the best talent. We look forward to serving clients in ANZ while continuing to tap into new markets."
