Strategy& promotes Jonathan Le Henry to partner and Maghreb leader

Strategy& has promoted Jonathan Le Henry to partner and Head of the Maghreb region.

The Frenchman has been with Strategy& for around a decade, spending the first half of his tenure at the strategy consulting firm in the Middle East, working from its Abu Dhabi office.

Le Henry then in the role of principal shifted his focus to the Arab world in Northwest Africa, and helped build Strategy&’s presence in Morocco and the region.

Now as a partner, Le Henry has been named leader of the Maghreb region, which includes Morocco, Algeria, Libya, Mauritania and Tunisia. “I look forward to work with a fantastic team of talented consultants with the ambition to continue to make a difference and to create value for our clients,” said Le Henry.

The region is coordinated by Strategy&’s Casablanca office (which launched in 2016), overseen by the firm’s Paris office (which leads the francophone region as well) and supported by the Middle East team.

Le Henry specialises in corporate strategy, market entry and growth, commercial and vendor due diligence, economic analysis, and value creation services to private equity and investor clients. He has worked across sectors, with a particular focus on automotive, retail, and manufacturing.

Prior to joining Strategy&, Le Henry worked with the French Ministry of Economy and Finance, leading several economic and financial studies for matters in the Middle East, and had a brief spell at FTI Consulting.

Jonathan Le Henry holds a master’s degree in business strategy and international relations from Sciences Po as well as a master’s degree in geopolitics from the Institute of International and Strategic Relations. He also holds a degree in Arabic studies.
