Stephane Ulcakar joins Arthur D. Little's financial services practice

Global management consulting firm Arthur D. Little has appointed Stephane Ulcakar as an associate director in its financial services practice.

Based in Dubai, Ulcakar will lead Arthur D. Little’s financial services offerings to corporate and government clients. He will work with governments and funds across the region on topics including corporate banking, capital optimisation, fintech strategies and the improvement of financial inclusion.

Ulcakar brings over 20 years of experience as a strategy consultant and banker to the firm, having previously served EY-Parthenon, Strategy&, Boston Consulting Group and Bain & Company in consulting, and Société Générale and Lombard Odier in banking.

Among the “landmark innovative projects” Ulcakar worked on include advising governments and central banks in the creation of national fintech strategies, the creation of digital banks, and the development of financial services arms for telco operators.

Ulcakar, who has worked from Paris, Frankfurt and most recently Moscow, also supported governments in the Middle East and Central Asia with topics related to national growth strategies, elimination of shadow economy, financial sector development, and finance-backed innovation.
