BrazilHany Elnaggar joins tax specialist WTS Dhruva Consultants
WTS Dhruva Consultants has strengthened its team with Hany Elnaggar, who brings more than 25 years of taxation experience to the tax-focused advisory firm.
Appointed an Associate Partner, Elnaggar operates out of the Dubai office of WTS Dhruva Consultants one of the firm’s eight offices across the Middle East, India and Singapore.
A certified accountant, Elnaggar has extensive experience in topics including direct and indirect tax, international tax planning, transfer pricing, reporting, the attribution of profits to permanent establishments, tax governance, and VAT advisory and implementation. He has worked across multiple jurisdictions, notably in the Middle East, Turkey and Africa.
Elnaggar arrives with a background at the Big Four (he served PwC for two years in Egypt), but gained nearly all his experience in industry. Most recently, he served as Head of Direct & International Tax at Al Tayer Group, and before that, he led the Middle East tax department of Nissan, and was Head of Tax for Saudi Arabia and Egypt at Ericsson. He also worked for the Egyptian Tax Authority, Novartis and ACWA Power.

Incepted in India, WTS Dhruva Consultants launched its Middle East operations in Dubai in 2017 with a focus on indirect tax services. Since then, the consulting firm has expanded into other segments (including VAT and corporate tax) and grown into one of the region’s larger pure-play firms in the tax advisory landscape.
WTS Dhruva Consultants currently hosts a 50+ strong team across offices in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. According to Goel, the firm is eyeing moves into the markets of Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
