Saudi ministry selects LOGIC Consulting for real estate program

Egyptian consultancy LOGIC Consulting has landed a major framework agreement with the Saudi government, focused on advancing capabilities with the real estate development sector.

Signed on the side-lines of a major event that took place yesterday, the Ministry of Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing has signed a memorandum of understanding with LOGIC Consulting, a leading regional consulting firm. Headquartered in Cairo, LOGIC Consulting serves the Saudi market through its offices in Riyadh and Jeddah.

As part of the agreement, LOGIC Consulting will help the ministry with its objective of uplifting the capabilities of real estate contractors and developers who work for projects overseen by the ministry.

According to Abdul Rahman bin Abdullah Al-Taweel, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing for the Agency for Stimulating Housing Supply and Real Estate Development, the expertise of LOGIC Consulting will help builders enhance their efficiency and performance, at a time when Saudi’s real estate sector is booming.

“The goal is to advance the real estate industry, aligning with the aspirations of Saudi Vision 2030. Working with a distinguished consulting firm like LOGIC Consulting will lead to the development of highly effective strategies for augmenting the efficiency and capabilities of developers within the Kingdom, elevating the overall performance of the real estate development market,” said Al-Taweel.

Key focus of the partnership will be on the housing segment. The ambitious goal of the ministry is to achieve a homeownership rate of 65% by 2025 and further increase it to 70% by 2030. Delivering this objective will require a major ramp up of current building levels – backed by capabilities that can make this happen.
