HKA named Saudi’s top dispute resolution consultant in the construction sector
HKA, a global consulting firm with several offices in the Middle East, has been named Saudi’s top dispute resolution consultant at the Construction Week Saudi Awards 2025.
Held at the Voco Riyadh Hotel, the Construction Week Saudi Awards 2025 brought together leaders from across Saudi Arabia’s construction sector to recognise excellence of companies, projects, and people. With nearly 250 entries from 90+ companies, the 2025 edition was the most competitive edition in the ceremony’s history.
On the night, the ‘Outstanding Dispute Resolution Award’ was handed to HKA, a 1,000-person global consultancy in risk mitigation, dispute resolution, expert witness and litigation support services. The firm has a track record of over four decades in the Saudi market, including working on some of the most iconic and world-leading construction projects in the Kingdom.
“This award celebrates HKA’s leadership and excellence in resolving complex construction disputes across Saudi Arabia. We are proud to contribute to the Kingdom’s ambitious development goals and remain committed to delivering clarity, integrity, and results in every engagement,” said Jad Chouman, Partner and Head of Middle East at HKA.
Husam Gawish, Partner and Head of Operations for Saudi Arabia, added: “This wouldn’t be possible without our team and their expertise. We remain committed to investing in the very best local and expatriate talent as well as mentoring and developing the next generation of dispute resolution professionals in Saudi Arabia, ensuring they have the skills and experience to lead the industry and region forward.”
The Saudi team of HKA is led by a highly experienced leadership team comprising five partners, supported by a multi-disciplinary and multilingual team of consultants working from offices in Riyadh (regional headquarters) and Jeddah. Notably, over one-third of its local workforce comprises Saudi women, underscoring the firm’s strong commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Another celebration
For HKA, this recognition extends a run of awards and accolades in the dispute resolution field. Last year, the firm was named one of the Middle East’s leading dispute resolution consultancies by both Consultancy.org and Middle East Consultant. Meanwhile, Lexology ranked several of HKA’s practitioners among the top 5% of consulting experts worldwide, and regional boss Chouman was recognised as one of the most influential figures in the Middle East’s construction industry.
